1 cup of lavender flowers
2 cups water, boiling
2 cups chilled water
1 cup lemon juice 1 cup sugar
First, add the lavender flowers to a large pitcher.
Boil two cups of water, and pour the water over the flowers.
Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and allow the flowers to steep within the water for a full ten minutes.
Strain the lavender flowers from the water, and return the water to the pitcher. Toss out the flowers.
Next, add the chilled water, the sugar, and the lemon juice to the pitcher, and stir well. The sugar should dissolve completely.
Chill the lavender lemonade for two hours prior to serving, and enjoy!
